Jo Marshall scholarship

February 17, 2017

To All Club Presidents:

The Jo Marshall Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in 2001 in memory of Jo Marshall, who was a BCRW - BOD, Past President and NvFRW - Southern Director.

Two $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded, one to a Northern Nevada applicant and one to a Southern Nevada applicant. Female, Republican students attending a Nevada institute of Higher Learning are eligible to apply for a scholarship.

Funding for these scholarships is provided by the designated $100.00 donations given directly to the scholarship fund by each club.

Each NvFRW club president may submit a maximum of two (2) sponsored applications. All applications must be received by the Jo Marshall Scholarship Chair by September 1, 2018. The scholarships will be awarded on or before October 1, 2018.

Each club will designate a scholarship chairman who will be responsible for communicating with the NvFRW scholarship chairman.  The club President and/or First Vice President must sign all applications submitted by their club.
